I’m Going Back to London, Cue the Nostalgia

london nostalgia

I won’t be posting in this space for a few weeks but for good reason as I’ll be going to Europe! There will be a lot of talking and selling for work which can be very tiring but I know how lucky I am to be able to go. And for a travel-lover like myself it’s a blessing. It’s so nice to take a break from the routine and from sitting at a desk in front of a computer all day.

Five Reasons to Try a Group Tour

hiking amalfi coast

I was never enthusiastic about group tours in the past. I think I thought one would be too regimented and I wouldn’t have the freedom to do whatever I wanted to do because I would have to adhere to the guide’s itinerary. There is a difference between what we think we should do and what we actually want to do. It’s only at the end of a decade do you realize how great the years before turned out to be but I had my moments where I stopped and said, “Wow.” Hiking along the Amalfi Coast was one of those moments.

Apple Hill and Why Girls Love Fall

apple hill
My friends and I were driving back from Placerville this weekend where we had spent the day in Apple Hill. To keep us occupied on the two and a half hour drive back to San Francisco, we listened to comedian Iliza Shlesinger’s stand up bit about girls loving fall. Have you seen it? It’s hilarious because it is so true. Girls love the leaves, wearing boots and coats, and pumpkin everything.  And the fact that us girls had just spent an entire day in Apple Hill, the epitome of fall, made us the exact people Iliza was making fun of but I don’t care. Apple Hill was gorgeous and smelled heavenly and reminded me why I love this cozy, festive season.
