Chicago’s architecture is one of the city’s best features and so my first to-do in the Windy City this past fall was the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s River Cruise. The 90 minute tour along the Chicago River is one of the easiest ways to view the buildings of Chicago’s skyline and learn about the city’s history.
Tours cost $32 per person and run in May through November but no matter what month you sail along the water, be sure to bring a jacket because you never know when the wind and cold will turn on you.
Oooh, architecture tour! That’s right up my alley. I’ll have to remember that next time I’m in Chicago. Thanks for the tip!
Make sure to go when the weather is good and you will love it!
