The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum was one of my favorite places to visit in Boston. I had just finished reading a biography about Jackie O.’s career in publishing so I was especially interested in the museum inside the library that was all about her and JFK before and during their White House Years.
The swan boat ride in Boston Public Garden isn’t exciting or riveting. In fact, it’s downright mellow. For a few dollars, you take a 10 minute ride around the lake that sits in the center of the garden, passing underneath the bridge and by the willow trees and swans that live in the lake. It’s pretty relaxing so I suggest taking this ride after walking the Freedom Trail all day long to give your feet a rest.
